Free lectures are offered to the public before most Music of the Baroque concerts. Each lecturer brings a different perspective to the music, offering patrons the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the music being performed and enhance their concert experience.

Lectures for performances at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts begin at 6:30 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel, 9599 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie (directly adjacent to the theater), in the Athens Room.

Lectures for performances at the Harris Theater begin at 6 pm at the Chicago Cultural Center, at Michigan and Randolph, just west of Harris Theater. Keep in mind that you can often take the below-ground pedway from the Cultural Center to the Harris: Take the elevator down from the Randolph Street entrance, then follow the signs east to the Harris.
