Bass-baritone Peter Van De Graaff, a frequent performer with Music of the Baroque, has sung to great acclaim throughout the world. His most recent solo appearance with Music of the Baroque was last season in Purcell's
King Arthur.

Mr. Van De Graaff performed and recorded a Mass by Jan Vorisek with the Czech State Symphony under Paul Freeman, and also sang Beethoven's Missa Solemnis throughout the Czech Republic and Poland with the Czech Philharmonic. He has appeared in Berlin with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in Schoenberg's Moses und Aron, in Budapest with the Budapest Concert Orchestra in Verdi's Requiem, and in Tel Aviv with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra in a Mozart Mass.

Mr. Van De Graaff's U.S. appearances include engagements with the Houston, Chicago, Utah, San Antonio, Syracuse, Omaha, Wichita, Colorado Springs and Richmond Symphony Orchestras, as well as many others.

As a specialist in Baroque repertoire, Mr. Van De Graaff has appeared at the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, Costa Rica International Music Festival, Grand Teton Music Festival, St. Louis Early Music Festival, Boulder Bach Festival and many other festivals and concert series throughout the country. He and his wife, soprano Kathleen Van De Graaff, have been responsible for modern premieres of several early eighteenth-century chamber operas known as "intermezzi." He recently returned from a performance at the International Vocal Symposium in Salzburg, Austria.

Mr. Van De Graaff's recordings include three intermezzi on the Naxos label and Menotti's The Medium, Vorisek's Mass in B-flat and Mozart arias and duets on the Cedille label.
