Peder Reiff
TENOR

Tenor Peder Reiff has recently appeared in a variety of roles, ranging from the tenor soloist in Carmina Burana with the Music Institute of Chicago to Borsa in Quad Cities Opera’s production of Rigoletto. He performs most frequently with the choruses of Music of the Baroque and Lyric Opera of Chicago. As a graduate student at Indiana University, Mr. Reiff studied under world famous bass-baritone Giorgio Tozzi and still holds the record for having the most named roles in a single Indiana University opera season, appearing in six of the seven operas performed that year.

An accomplished concert and oratorio artist, Mr. Reiff has performed with orchestras and symphonies throughout the United States, including the Music Institute of Chicago, Fort Wayne Symphony, Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, Opera Illinois, and the Crystal Lake Symphony in programs ranging from greatest operatic hits to classic oratorios. Mr. Reiff has also appeared with opera companies throughout the country—most recently Opera Illinois, L’Opera Piccola, Opera for the Young, the Chautauqua Opera Company, and the Seagle Music Colony. Favorite roles include Nemorino in The Elixir of Love, Ferrando in Cosí fan tutte, and Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus.
