Keven Keys

A longtime Music of the Baroque chorus member and soloist, bass Keven Keys has appeared with orchestras throughout the Midwest and beyond, including the Grant Park Orchestra, Kalamazoo Bach Festival, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Colorado Mahlerfest, Fox Valley Symphony and numerous appearances with the Peninsula Music Festival. He last appeared as soloist with Music of the Baroque in December 2018.

Keven Keys’ concert repertoire includes Rachmaninoff’s Bells, J. S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor, Christmas Oratorio, St. John, and St. Matthew Passions, the Duruflé Requiem, Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 8 and Rückert Liede, Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony and Mystical Songs, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Upcoming performances include the Duruflé Requiem with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Highland Park Strings, and the role of Jesus in Bach’s St. John Passion with the Bach Cantata Vespers.

Keven Keys performs in "The Chase—Haydn, Handel & Rameau" on October 20 and 22.
